La Montagne takes up residence in the Ewües!
Every year, the En Passant par la Montagne association organizes an event in a working-class district of the Arve Valley. This year, it's in Cluses, in the Ewües district, that they've decided to introduce children to the mountains. After several days of mountain activities organized right in the middle of the neighborhood (orienteering, climbing, painting a mountain-themed fresco, etc.), it was on a cliff and in a refuge that the local youngsters were able to discover an aspect of their environment which, although geographically close, may seem difficult to access.

Global warming may seem abstract and complicated to many. This summer, the En Passant par la Montagne association accompanied companions from the Emmaüs Chambéry collective to the high mountains, where the impact of human activity on the climate is greatest. They all came away transformed, with a greater respect for the environment.
